Conveniently located on the Trans Canada Highway, the Rural Municipality of Crapaud is at the doorstep of many local attractions. We are your central point for one of the most popular scenic drives in Prince Edward Island, the Central Coastal Drive, and are located in the heart of the Red Sands Shore tourism region. Minutes away from red sand beaches, local theatre, and great outdoor activities, the area offers something for everyone.

 Westmoreland River Nature Park (Stordy’s Pond)
This park is located on Rte. 13 at the north end of Crapaud. Built and maintained jointly by the South Shore Conservation Association and the Westmoreland River Watershed Group, it was officially opened on Aug. 25th, 2017. Among other features, the Park includes a Monarch butterfly registered way-station, several interpretive signs, two fishing platforms with benches, and a parking lot. Development of the park is ongoing, with goals of wildlife habitat enhancement, wheelchair accessibility, public education and recreation (especially fishing).

Argyle Shore Provincial Park
Located on route 19, Argyle Shore is a day use provincial park offering an unsupervised beach, playground equipment, picnic facilities, showers and flush toilets. A great family location to spend the day at the beach. Pets are permitted on leash. Open mid-June to mid-September.

Brookvale Winter Activity Park
Brookvale Winter Activity Park has lots of fun activities for winter enthusiasts of all ages, including x-country and alpine skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Located in the central part of Queens County, just outside the Rural Muncipality of Crapaud. Brookvale offers lots of fun activities for winter enthusiasts of all ages or join them at the ski lodge and visit their canteen.

Central Coastal Drive
