Notice of the Next Crapaud Council Meeting
DATE: Wednesday Feb. 20th, 2019
TIME: 7 PM
PLACE: Crapaud Public Library,

Council meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Crapaud Public Library. These are public meetings and all are welcome to attend. If you wish to speak or present an issue during a Council meeting, please contact the office at 902-658-2558 prior to the meeting day so you can be added to the agenda.
The first meeting of the newly formed Marketing committee will be held this Thursday, Jan 24th at 10 am at the Crapaud Council Office. If you would like to be involved, please contact the office at 902-658-2558
South Shore Minor Basketball opening night and registration
Friday, Dec 21st, Grades K-3 at 6-7pm and grades 4-6 at 7-8pm.
We will be doing registration for each group. The gym is booked tomorrow so Friday is the only day we can go before Christmas.
We have our next jamboree coming up January 12 in Stratford. Please spread the word so we can get everyone registered and the program started.
CRAPAUD CITIZEN/VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
Congratulations to Ruth Walsh, winner of the 2018 Citizen/Volunteer Award! Nominated by Joanne Harvey, Ruth has been volunteering with several local organizations for many years. The award was presented at the Community BBQ on Friday July 27th.
CRAPAUD COMMUNITY COUNCIL AWARD WINNER
Congratulations to Jennifer Stewart, this year's recipient of the Crapaud Council Award at Bluefield High School. Of all the applications received, Jennifer's was by far the best, listing her top marks and many volunteer positions in the community. Jennifer will receive her award during graduation ceremonies at Bluefield High School.
Crapaud Walk-In Clinic adds Nurse Practitioner!
The Crapaud Walk-In Clinic, located in the South Shore Pharmacy, opened its doors on January 23rd. Clinic hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
In addition, a Nurse Practitioner is available by appointment all day on Wednesdays. (Formerly Mondays)
It is recommended before you set out that you call first or check the South Shore Health & Wellness Inc. Face Book page on the day of your visit to make sure the doctor is in.
